Dr. Hon. Louis Zabaneh, Minister of Constitution and Religious Affairs, Indigenous Affairs and Transportation, convened a presentation meeting with the former Chairs of the People’s Constitution Commission (PCC) as part of the Government’s ongoing review of the PCC Final Report and its recommendations for constitutional reform.
During the meeting, the former PCC Chairs presented on the Commission’s work and outlined the thematic areas and key recommendations emerging from the constitutional reform process. The engagement provided an important opportunity for dialogue and clarification as the Ministry continues its structured review of the PCC Final Report. The Ministry noted that this meeting is one of several engagements planned with the PCC Executive as it advances the review and assessment of the recommendations.
The meeting was also attended by Chester Williams, Chief Executive Officer; Ginéé Neal, Director of Constitution and Religious Affairs; Anna Loague, Director of Policy, Planning and Research; and former PCC Chairs Mr. Anthony Chanona, Mr. Arturo Lizarraga, Senator Glenfield Dennison, Mr. Josh Pott, and Ms. Maria Zabaneh.
