Governor-General H.E. Dame Froyla Tzalam received Letters of Credence from two newly appointed ambassadors to Belize on January 14, 2026.
H.E. Yahima Martínez Millán, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, and H.E. Erwin Rudy Roberto Archila Falla, Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala, presented their credentials at the Belize House in Belmopan.
The ambassadors each expressed their hopes of forging stronger bonds with Belize during their tenure. The Governor-General extended a warm welcome to the diplomats and conveyed well-wishes on behalf of the people of Belize.
