Today, Governor General H.E. Dame Froyla Tzalam received Letters of Credence from seven newly appointed ambassadors to Belize.
H.E. Jamie E. Pache Soto, Ambassador of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay; H.E. Nadya R.H. Rasheed, Ambassador of the State of Palestine; H.E. Mr. Messaoud Mehila, Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria; H.E. Kwak Taeyol, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea; H.E. Jolanta Janek, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland; H.E. Dr. María Gabriela Quinteros, Ambassador of the Argentine Republic; and H.E Maria Velasco, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden, presented their credentials at the Belize House in Belmopan.
The ambassadors shared their aspirations to deepen ties with Belize throughout their tenure. The Governor General warmly received the diplomats and offered heartfelt greetings and well-wishes on behalf of the Belizean people.
