The Family Support and Gender Affairs Department (FSGAD), under the Ministry of Human Development, Family Support, and Gender Affairs (MHDFSGA), convened a two-day Strategic Planning Workshop from July 10 to 11, 2025, bringing together staff from both national and district levels, alongside Ministry leadership.
Held under the theme “Transforming Together,” the workshop provided a collaborative platform for reviewing, refining, and finalizing the Department’s Strategic Plan for 2025–2030. The session was designed to ensure that FSGAD’s path forward remains rooted in inclusive, gender-transformative programming that meets the needs of the country’s most vulnerable populations.
Key objectives of the workshop included:
- Finalizing the Strategic Plan 2025–2030 to guide the Department’s priorities and actions over the next five years.
- Strengthening team cohesion and deepening shared commitment to gender equity and inclusive social development.
The workshop highlighted the Department’s core focus areas and strategic interventions while also encouraging open dialogue, reflection, and forward-thinking. It emphasized the importance of synergy between central leadership and district teams in transforming the lives of those served through FSGAD’s various programs.
