The Office of the Prime Minister informs that Hon. John Briceño departed the country yesterday, Sunday, November 1, 2026, en route to St. John’s, Antigua & Barbuda, to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2026, scheduled from November 1 – 6, 2026.
The Prime Minister returns to Belize on Friday, November 6, 2026.
During the Prime Minister’s absence, Hon. Cordel Hyde, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources, Petroleum and Mining, will act as Prime Minister.
