The Office of the Prime Minister informs that Hon. John Briceño departed the country today, Tuesday, April 14, 2026, en route to Washington D.C., U.S.A., to attend the 2026 Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG).
The Prime Minister returns to Belize on Saturday, April 18, 2026. During the Prime Minister’s absence, Hon. Cordel Hyde, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources, Petroleum and Mining, will hold over as Prime Minister.
