Today, Governor General H.E. Dame Froyla Tzalam received Letters of Credence from three newly appointed ambassadors to Belize.
H.E. Iván Briones González, Ambassador of the Republic of Nicaragua, H.E. Flavio Amaury Rondón de Jesús, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic, and H.E. Salem Rashed Alowais, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, presented their credentials at the Belize House in Belmopan.
The ambassadors each expressed their hopes of forging stronger bonds with Belize during their tenure. The Governor General extended a warm welcome to the diplomats and conveyed well wishes on behalf of the people of Belize.
