The Office of the Prime Minister informs that the Prime Minister, Hon. John Briceño, departed Belize on duty leave on June 7, 2025, to attend the United Nations Ocean Conference 2025 in Nice, France.
The Prime Minister returns to Belize on June 15, 2025. During his absence, Hon. Cordel Hyde, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources, Mining and Petroleum, will act as Prime Minister.
