Pestcides Control Board: Precautionary Measures for Preventing and Slowing the Transmission of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Recognizing that persons carrying the virus may not be presenting symptoms, the Pesticides Control Board (PCB) is taking the following measures to protect its personnel and the community from getting and spreading COVID-19.

Services suspended effective Monday, 23 March 2020 (until further notice)

Suspended Services Alternate Arrangements
National Pesticide Training and Certification Programme ·       Pesticide distributors are encouraged to make recommendations for the use of alternatives to Restricted-Use Pesticides (RUP).

·       In instances where the use of a RUP is deemed necessary, pesticide distributors may contact the PCB Inspector assigned to the monitoring of their pesticide handling facility to make special arrangements.

Face-to-face meetings and submission of registration documents by pesticide registration clients ·       Electronic submission or via dropbox at the PCB Secretariat.
One-on-one contact with clients at the PCB Secretariat ·       Contact the PCB Secretariat by email pcbinfo@btl.net or by calling 824-2640 for information or to make special arrangements as needed.
