The Office of the Prime Minister hereby announces that the Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Dean Barrow has today advised the Governor General to dissolve the National Assembly of Belize on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. It was also advised to the Governor General to issue writs for the holding of General Elections on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 with Wednesday, October 21, 2020 as Nomination Day.
