The Ministry of Transportation hereby responds to the information contained in the Belize Bus Association’s (BBA) latest press release. The Ministry reiterates its position, which has been publicly communicated on numerous occasions, that the charging stations for the electric buses being procured for the National Bus Company (NBC) will be powered primarily by solar energy, with Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) serving as a secondary power source.
