Election Day Protocols for Polling Stations

General Elections are scheduled for Wednesday, November 11th, 2020. The below infographics outline the protocols implemented for electors at the polling stations. Here’s what to expect when you go out to vote in the 2020 General Elections.

  1. Voter enters polling station, shows ID and/or announce name.

2. Voter removes mask for facial verification.

3. Voter must sanitize finger before dipping in indelible ink.

4. Voter dips right index finger to the first joint in the indelible ink.

5. Voter receives ballot and a sanitize pencil from the presiding officer.

6. Voter marks ‘X’ for ONE candidate of choice on ballot paper.

7. Voter folds ballot paper to conceal vote before placing it in the ballot box.

8. Voter places pencil in the container used pencil for sanitization.

9. Voter immediately exits polling station.
