Ambassadors Present Letters of Credence at Belize House

Belmopan. January 21, 2019. This morning at the Belize House, the Governor General of Belize, H.E. Sir Colville Young, received letters of credence from H.E. Mr. Samir Nmeir, Ambassador of Lebanon; H.E. Mr. Librado Augusto Orozco Zapata, Ambassador of Peru; and H.E. Mr. Gerardo Antonio Argote, Ambassador of Venezuela. The High Commissioner of Canada to Belize, H.E. Mrs. Rita Rudaitis-Renauld, also paid a courtesy call on the Governor General.

The Ambassadors all expressed their wishes for strengthened and continued relations with Belize during their tenure. For his part, the Governor General thanked the ambassadors for their friendship and contributions to Belize, and extended wishes of peace and prosperity for their countries.
