Advisory on Digital Survey Job Submissions

Belmopan. June 16, 2021. 12:15 p.m.

The Ministry of Natural Resources, Petroleum and Mining is committed to improving the workflow and response time for the processes undertaken at the Surveys and Mapping Section of the Lands and Survey Department.

Therefore, the ministry announces the following measures aimed at creating greater efficiency and minimizing underhanded and substandard processes:

(A)     Commencing on July 5, 2021, the Department will only accept submissions from land surveyors via the Digital Survey Jobs portal. The guidelines for the submission package may be accessed on the ministry’s website at https://naturalresources.gov.bz/index.php/survey-submission/.

(B)     The ministry will ensure that those surveys submitted prior to July 5, 2021 continues to be processed for registration and authentication.

The ministry assures the public that given compliance with the changes, all requests for registration and authentication will be honoured within the 30-day period as mandated by law.

Licensed land surveyors are urged to take note and comply with its requirements. The public is advised to only engage licensed land surveyors to conduct land surveys.
