Today, Governor-General H.E. Dame Froyla Tzalam received Letters of Credence from four newly appointed ambassadors to Belize.
H.E. André Driessen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands; H.E. Abedelazím Elsayed Rifai, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt; H.E. Dag Halvor Nylander, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway; and H.E. Samy Tatiana Araya Rojas, Ambassador of the Republic of Costa Rica; presented their credentials at the Belize House in Belmopan. H.E. Julia Hyatt, High Commissioner of Jamaica, also made a courtesy call on the Governor-General.
The ambassadors shared their visions of fostering stronger international ties with Belize during their tenure. The Governor-General extended a warm welcome and best wishes on behalf of the nation.
