Further to the Ministry’s press release issued yesterday, April 25, 2026, the Ministry hereby informs the public that the Government is prepared to extend subsidy support to village bus operators, in addition to highway bus operators.
Prime Minister Hon. John Briceño will make a national address tomorrow, April 27, 2026, in which he will share further details on the subsidy support.
The Ministry remains committed to maintaining stability in public transportation while protecting the welfare of commuters and supporting the continuity of essential bus services.
