The Office of the Prime Minister informs that Prime Minister Hon. John Briceño departed Belize yesterday, September 22, 2025, en route to New York City, New York, U.S.A., to attend the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The Prime Minister returns to Belize on Saturday, September 27, 2025. During his absence, Hon. Cordel Hyde, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources, Petroleum, and Mining, will hold over as Prime Minister.
